Welcome to the latest version of the LocWorks team site. After experimenting with static html pages, MovableType blog software, and lately Joomla, we have decided to move our content to WordPress. Our nerdiness is probably the main factors behind these experiments. As in the case of localization projects, we love to find the best workable solution to the problem while developing or exploring new techniques and tools. Any of the online content management systems above was fine for the job. We wanted however something which would be at the same time ready to use, efficient, tweakable and actively supported by a an open source community. After several months of testing, we found that WordPress and the Tarski theme matched all these requirements and we started switching our content in the last few days, right after the release of WordPress 2.5. We hope that you will find the new site easy to use.
